President’s Letter Fall 2014November 7, 2014

Happy Autumn from all of us at Manasquan Savings Bank. We want to thank all who turned out for our Community Day on October 25th. We were truly touched by all the families who helped us celebrate our 140th birthday! The only thing brighter than the sunshine was the brilliant smiles on the faces of the next generation of Manasquan Savings Bank customers.

It was a glorious Fall day at the Manasquan’s very impressive, newly renovated Squan Plaza Town Center. We thank the Manasquan Town Council for accommodating us for our very special celebration. It was a day that, in every way, defines the term community.

Our senior management team had the chance to become grill masters for a day feeding more than 1,000 attendees. What a party.

We also want to congratulate Jason Bryant, the winner of our raffle for the custom surfboard. The surfboard is the star of our most recent “hand crafted” business lending television commercial. Jason may have held the winning ticket but the real winner is his lovely 9 year old, daughter, Lillian. Fresh off her first set of surfing lessons, she now has a new board to take off on her new hobby!

You all have an opportunity to be a winner in our latest television promotion. Our new ad, named “Easy As Pie” shows you how simple it is to open up an account at any Manasquan Savings Bank branch. Watch it here in case you haven’t seen it yet on television. Everyone who opens an account between now and end of year will receive a free award winning Mueller’s Bakery pie compliments of Manasquan Savings Bank. What could be easier than that?

Speaking of winners, I’d like to congratulate our VP of IT, Richard Lanza. Rich has been named one of New Jersey’s New Leaders in Banking by the New Jersey Banking Association. Rich is among an elite group of only twelve, throughout the entire State of New Jersey, to receive this prestigious honor. He joins Lisa Colonno and Jennifer Weisert two of our AVP and Branch Managers who were named Rising Stars by the NJBA in 2013.

In community banking, people always make the difference. You have entrusted us with your finances and it is our duty and responsibility to provide you with the best service, security and products possible. Rich, Lisa and Jennifer are three examples of what I believe is the finest customer service team I have ever been privileged to lead.

As we rapidly move into the holiday season, I wish you and your family the best wishes. We are honored to be your financial institution of choice.

James S. Vaccaro

Sincerely,
James S. Vaccaro
President and Chief Executive Officer
