Manasquan Bank Introduces Michael Malloy as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial OfficerDecember 20, 2018

Michael MalloyManasquan Bank, a community bank headquartered in Wall Township, N.J., has brought on Michael Malloy in the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer to further bolster its executive leadership team.

Malloy joins the bank from Big Four audit and tax firm KPMG, where he spent 10 years in the New York Financial Services Audit Practice. Malloy managed full-scope financial statements and integrated audits including strategy, research, fieldwork, review and reporting. He was also involved in the development of cognitive audit tools, internal performance reviews, recruiting and community service. Malloy’s primary focus at KPMG was on regional and community banks in New Jersey.

Prior to his most recent tenure as Senior Manager of Audit at KPMG, Malloy served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Colonial American Bank, and, previously, Director of Financial Reporting at Northfield Bank. He began his career with KPMG, working there for six years before pursuing these opportunities and eventually returning to the firm.

Malloy earned a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University and a Master’s in Accountancy and Professional Consultancy from Villanova University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey, maintaining an affiliation with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. As Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Malloy will be responsible for the direction of all financial activities including but not limited to treasury, accounting, asset and liability management, tax, and financial control activities. Directs and coordinates activities with independent public accountants and various regulatory agencies. Represents the bank on financial matters with industry, governmental, and regulatory organizations.
