Manasquan Bank’s Jessica Ocampo-Callaghan Earns 2015 New Leaders in Banking RecognitionNovember 2, 2015

Manasquan Bank’s Jessica Ocampo-Callaghan, Senior BSA Analyst, has been named one of New Jersey’s New Leaders in Banking for 2015.

The honor marks the third straight year in which a Manasquan Bank employee has been recognized for the award, which is sponsored by the New Jersey Bankers Association and New Jersey Banker magazine. New Leaders in Banking are commended as rising stars demonstrating exemplary performance in the banking industry and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

“Mrs. Ocampo-Callaghan is an incredible leader, both within our organization and in our charitable efforts,” said Manasquan Bank President and CEO, James S. Vaccaro. “Her recognition is well-deserved, and the entire Manasquan Bank team will celebrate this outstanding achievement with her.”

Mrs. Ocampo-Callaghan joined Manasquan Bank in 2002 as a full-time teller in the Ramtown Branch. After being promoted to Customer Service Representative in 2006, she soon had the opportunity to further her career in the BSA/AML area as BSA Assistant. Mrs. Ocampo-Callaghan fully embraced her new role and immersed herself in the industry, expanding her knowledge base through ongoing conferences, classes and training sessions.

Leveraging her 13 years of experience, Mrs. Ocampo-Callaghan has been instrumental in streamlining, automating and improving her department’s workflow. Her ability to stay on the cutting edge of technology is key to Manasquan Bank’s above satisfactory BSA/AML compliance, and has earned her a recent promotion to Senior BSA Analyst.

Outside of the office, Mrs. Ocampo-Callaghan has shown truly outstanding civic engagement. She is an ardent participant in Manasquan Bank’s annual food drives, helping the bank donate up to four tons of food per year to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. She has also aided Coastal Habitat for Humanity’s post-Hurricane Sandy rebuilding efforts, and continues to attend the numerous breast cancer awareness events that Manasquan Bank supports.

Mrs. Ocampo-Callaghan will be honored alongside the rest of the 2015 New Leaders in Banking at the New Leaders gala and awards ceremony December 1 in the Atlantic City Tropicana Hotel & Casino. The event is a prelude to the BankHorizons 2015 tradeshow Dec. 2.
