Manasquan Bank Names James S. Hickey to Board of DirectorsOctober 19, 2016

jamesshickeyManasquan Bank, a community bank headquartered in Wall Township, N.J., has appointed James S. Hickey to its Board of Directors, effective Oct. 19, 2016.

Mr. Hickey is the president of Links Insurance Services, LLC, a generalist agency based in Wall, N.J. specializing in personal insurance and small to middle market business. Since co-founding the company in 2001 with six employees and roughly 1,000 clients, he has since grown Links Insurance Services to staff more than 40 insurance professionals serving a quintupled client base.

“As a local business owner, Mr. Hickey brings additional perspective and expertise,” said James S. Vaccaro, Manasquan Bank’s president and CEO. “We are pleased and excited to add a professional possessing Mr. Hickey’s business experience, acumen and credentials to the already stellar ranks of our Board of Directors.”

Mr. Hickey holds insurance licenses in over 30 states, and has served on the Agency Council with Ohio Casualty. He has been elected to Presidents Club status, a designation given to top agencies, with Ohio Casualty, Liberty Mutual, Selective and Chubb.

A graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, N.J. and Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Penn., Mr. Hickey serves numerous charitable organizations including the Visiting Nurses Association, Make-A-Wish and You Cannot Be Replaced. He is also Club President of Spring Lake Golf Club, where he has been an active member for over 20 years and held previous positions including Club Secretary and Greens Chairman in addition to sitting on several committees.

Mr. Hickey resides in Spring Lake, N.J. with his wife, Liz, and their two daughters, Lauren and Kiernan. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, skiing with his family, and working out.
